Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to update omics services included in PAR-16-021, "NHLBI TOPMed: Omics Phenotypes of Heart, Lung, and Blood Disorders (X01)". For due dates on or after January 19, 2017, PAR-16-021 will provide omics services supporting RNA-sequencing, proteomics, epigenetics, and metabolomics, in addition to human whole genome sequencing.

Prior to the submission of a grant application in response to PAR-16-021, interested investigators are strongly encouraged to contact NHLBI staff to ensure that the purpose and scope of their application is aligned with the TOPMed program, and meets the technical requirements and analytical capabilities of the program.

All other aspects of this FOA remain the same.
