Purpose

On June 2, 2015 NHLBI published NOT-HL-15-261, "Notice of Revised NHLBI Submission Policies for PA-14-047 “Midcareer Investigator Award in Patient-Oriented Research (Parent K24)." The parent K24 FOA has now been reissued as PA-16-206.

The purpose of this Notice is to clarify the total number of years of K24 funding an individual can receive from NHLBI. Specifically and effective immediately, applicants for K24 funding from NHLBI are limited to 10 years of K24 support (new and renewal).
