Purpose

On May 31, 2016, the NHLBI issued Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) PAR-16-300 "Clinical Coordinating Center for Multi-Site Investigator-Initiated Clinical Trials (Collaborative UG3/UH3)". The purpose of this Notice is to clarify that it is acceptable to provide all information requested for the Recruitment and Retention Plan in a single table. The following section of the FOA is revised accordingly:

Current Language
A Recruitment and Retention Plan consisting of two tables: a table of the recruiting sites and site PDs/PIs, and a table showing enrollment goals and number of potential participants available at each site.

Revised Language
A Recruitment and Retention Plan consisting of two tables or a single combined table with the following information: 1) the recruiting sites and site PDs/PIs, and 2) enrollment goals and number of potential participants available at each site.

All other aspects of the FOA remain unchanged.
