On November 13, 2012, ORWH issued a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA): PA-13-018 "Administrative Supplements for Research on Sex/Gender Differences (Admin Supp)." NHLBI is a participating organization in PA-13-018.

The following correction to the FOA is being made:

Current Language:

• NHLBI-specific Programmatic Language: Only R01 grants can be considered for administrative supplements in this funding opportunity.

Modified Language:

• NHLBI-specific Programmatic Language: Only R01 grants can be considered for administrative supplements in this funding opportunity.
• NHLBI grantees who respond to this FOA must be able to substantiate previously unrecognized gender differences by providing new preliminary data or by citing new observations in the medical literature.

All other aspects of the FOA remain unchanged.
