Purpose

After careful review of our budgetary situation and current competing priorities, the NHLBI has decided to withdraw PAR-12-043, “Identifying Heart, Lung, and Blood Disease-Causing Variants (R01)”effective immediately. No applications will be accepted for the February 8, 2012 or February 8, 2013 due dates.

Once NHLBI learns about more results from RFA-OD-09-004 Recovery Act Limited Competition for NIH Grants: Research and Research Infrastructure “Grand Opportunities-Exome Sequencing Project” (RC2) (GO-ESP) effort, the Institute may address specific scientific gaps with a future targeted Funding Opportunity Announcement.
