The NHLBI is requesting competing renewal applications from the two grantees that currently are supported by R25 NHLBI Minority Undergraduate Biomedical Education Program awards. These programs were awarded as a result of Request for Applications RFA-HL-01-008, https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-HL-01-008.html, the Minority Undergraduate Biomedical Education Program. This limited competition will continue to facilitate the recruitment and retention of minority undergraduate students into biomedical science and increase the number of minority individuals involved in biomedical and behavioral research.

SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS: Only competing renewal applications which were funded as part of RFA-HL-01-008, Minority Undergraduate Biomedical Education Program will be considered.

NHLBI staff will contact the current grantees directly regarding application procedures and format. The current grantees are City University of New York (R25 HL069537) and Langston University (R25 HL069546).
