Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to alert applicants of the early expiration of PAR-25-228, "Investigator Initiated Innovation in Computational Genomics and Data Science (R01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)". The Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), PAR-25-228, will expire early on September 4, 2026. No further applications will be accepted for consideration under this NOFO. Prospective applicants seeking support for innovative research efforts in computational genomics are encouraged to submit new, renewal, and resubmission applications to the following NOFO:

PA-25-301 - NIH Research Project Grant (Parent R01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed).
