Purpose

On July 25, 2018, the NIH issued the following Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA):
RFA-HG-18-008

To assist potential applicants to the above-referenced FOA, this Notice provides the following information:

• A Pre-Application Information Webinar for potential CERA applicants will be provided on September 5, 2018.
• Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are available to prospective applicants.

CERA Webinar Information
Date: September 5, 2018
Time: 2:00 3:00 pm ET
The intent of the pre-application webinar is to provide an overview of the CERA FOA and to address questions from potential applicants. The webinar is optional and not required for application submission. The webinar may conclude before the scheduled time depending on the number of questions.

NHGRI staff will post information about how to participate in the Webinar at https://www.genome.gov/27571845/ . Prospective applicants are encouraged to submit their questions or comments regarding the RFA to elsi@mail.nih.gov by August 29th. Following the webinar, NHGRI will post the slides presented during the Webinar on the same website. Prospective applicants with inquiries concerning the FOA who are unable to participate in the Webinar are encouraged to view the summary of questions and answers after the Webinar.
