Purpose

This Notice is to inform potential applicants to RFA-HG-17-008, RFA-HG-17-009, and RFA-HG-17-010 of a pre-application webinar and frequently asked questions (FAQs).

Webinar

The intent of the webinar is to provide an overview of the initiatives and to answer questions from potential applicants pertinent to preparing applications. The webinar is optional (attendance is not required for application submission), and the webinar may conclude before the scheduled time depending on the number of questions.

NHGRI staff will post information about how to participate in the Webinar (including conference call information) at https://www.genome.gov/27569241/. Prospective applicants are encouraged to submit their questions or comments regarding the RFAs to ebony.madden@nih.gov before August 17, 2017. Please indicate “IGNITE II RFA Pre-Application Webinar” in the subject line of your email.

NHGRI staff will post information about how to participate in the Webinar at https://www.genome.gov/27569241/. Prospective applicants may ask additional questions during the Webinar, and NHGRI staff will respond to those questions. Following the Webinar, NHGRI will post slides from the webinar at the same URL.

FAQs

As a result of discussions with potential applicants to the IGNITE II FOAs, NHGRI has generated a document of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and answers (https://www.genome.gov/27569241/). These FAQs will be updated with a summary of questions and answers from the webinar and may be updated with additional questions and answers without additional notice.

Prospective applicants with inquiries concerning the FOA are encouraged to view the FAQs. Prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to contact NHGRI to discuss their proposed trial and patient population as well as any questions that were not addressed in the FAQs.
