These RFAs were developed as part of the NIH-wide Genes and Environment Initiative. All NIH Institutes and Centers participate in NIH-wide initiatives. The referenced RFAs will be administered by NHGRI (http://www.genome.gov) on behalf of the NIH (http://www.nih.gov).
On September 7, 2006, the National Human Genome Research Institute, on behalf of the National Institutes of Health, issued three related Requests for Applications (RFA) as part of the NIH-wide Genes and Environment Initiative:
