Section I. Funding Opportunity Description

  • NICHD Statement of Interest:Within the context of this FOA, the NICHD is supporting programs relating to the National Center for Medical Rehabilitation Research (NCMRR). This would include courses and programs that help biomedical engineering students understand the needs of people with physical disabilities and to design real-world solutions that support health, productivity, independence, and quality of life. This may include assistive technologies and supports for specific impairments, physical and psychosocial barriers, and other environmental and vocational issues involving people with disabilities and their families.

All other aspects of the FOA remain unchanged.
