Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to inform potential applicants that the eligibility information is changed for PAR-13-358 to allow foreign applications and foreign components for the next application cycle.

The eligibility information for U01 applications that were submitted for the March 20, 2014, due date and are presently under review will not change.

Part 2. Section III. Eligibility Information

Effective with the next application cycle, Eligible Applicants for PAR-13-358 is changed to:

Foreign Institutions
Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are eligible to apply.
Non-domestic (non-U.S.) components of U.S. Organizations are eligible to apply.
Foreign components, as defined in the NIH Grants Policy Statement, are allowed.
