Through the Request for Applications RFA-HD-02-015, the National Institute of 
Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) and the National Institute on 
Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD) are soliciting 
applications for the establishment of a Data Coordinating Center (DCC) to 
support the ongoing NICHD/NIDCD Network on the Neurobiology and Genetics of 
Autism:  Collaborative Programs of Excellence in Autism (CPEAs). 

The purpose of this Notice is to announce a change in the expected minimum 
percent effort that must be expended by the Principal Investigator in 
applications responding to that RFA.  Under SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS, the section 
entitled Percent Effort states incorrectly that the Principal Investigator 
must expend at least 40 percent effort annually on the award.  The correct 
statement is as follows:  

"Percent Effort

The DCC Principal Investigator must expend at least 20 percent effort 
annually on the award in each year of support."

All other aspects of the RFA remain unchanged.
