Purpose

The National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) will host an informational webinar about the Biomedical Technology Optimization and Dissemination Center (BTOD) program on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 4:00-5:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time.

NIGMS staff will provide an overview of the BTOD Center program goals and how the Centers are structured to achieve these goals. They will also introduce the range of technologies that are suitable for the program.The webinar will feature two current Program Directors/Principal Investigators (PDs/PIs) who will describe how the program goals are implemented in the Centers that they direct. Following the presentation, a live Q&A session will address questions submitted by the attendees. Although encouraged, webinar attendance is optional and is not required for application submission in response to the BTOD NOFO. Additional information about the funding program is available on the NIGMS BTOD website.
