This Notice is to inform potential applicants to the Intramural NIGMS Postdoctoral Research Associate (PRAT) Program (Fi2 PAR-16-130) of an upcoming webinar on preparing applications to this program. Participation in the webinar, although encouraged, is optional and is not required for application submission to PAR-16-130 "Intramural NIGMS Postdoctoral Research Associate (PRAT) Program (Fi2)".

Tips for Preparing Your Application to the NIGMS Postdoctoral Research Associate (PRAT/Fi2) Program

The NIGMS PRAT Program is a three-year program providing outstanding laboratory research experiences in the NIH Intramural Research Program, access to NIH's extensive resources, mentorship, career development activities and networking. The program places special emphasis on training fellows in all scientific areas supported by NIGMS, including cell biology, biophysics, genetics, developmental biology, pharmacology, physiology, biological chemistry, computational biology, immunology, neuroscience, technology development and bioinformatics.
During this webinar, you will learn about the NIGMS PRAT Program and the process for writing an Fi2 application. Topics will include contacting potential research mentors in the NIH Intramural Research Program, and details about application submission and review processes.
