Purpose

A partnership of NIH Institutes has issued a set of three funding opportunity announcements (FOAs) to invite applications for the Strategies to Innovate EmeRgENcy Care Clinical Trials Network (SIREN). SIREN will enable conduct of high-quality, multi-site clinical trials to improve the outcomes for patients with neurologic, cardiac, respiratory, hematologic and trauma emergency events. SIREN will consist of one Clinical Coordinating Center, one Data Coordinating Center and up to 10 clinical centers solicited through separate FOAs (the complete text of the FOAs are at the urls provided above). This Notice is to inform potential applicants to any of the FOAs of a pre-application webinar to provide submission information.

The intent of the webinar is to provide an overview of the initiative and to address questions pertinent to preparing applications. The webinar is optional and not required for application submission.

Participation in this webinar, although encouraged, is optional and is not required for the submission of an application to these FOAs.
