Purpose

The National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) supports institutional undergraduate, predoctoral, and postdoctoral research training through the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) T32 and T34 mechanisms. In order to increase the efficiency of issuing non-competing grant awards, NIGMS intends to change the date by which non-competing continuation grant progress reports must be submitted. Beginning with applications for non-competing awards that will be made in Fiscal Year 2016, progress reports for all T32 grants will be due on November 15 and progress reports for all T34 grants will be due on October 15.
