National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS)

The Training, Workforce Development and Diversity (TWD) Division at NIGMS will host a technical assistance workshop for potential applicants to the MARC Undergraduate Student Training in Academic Research (U-STAR) National Research Service Award (NRSA) Institutional Research Training Grant (T34) and Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement (RISE) (R25) programs. The purpose of the workshop will be to discuss the recently released MARC and RISE Funding Opportunity Announcements and to offer guidance. Program, review, and grants management staff will be present to discuss key information and answer questions during the allotted Q&A sessions.

The workshop is scheduled for Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm in Natcher (Bldg. 45) Room C1/C2 on the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD.
