Purpose

This Notice amends the following sections of PAR-13-196 "Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement (RISE) (R25)".

Part 2. Section III.1. Eligible Applicants

Eligible Organizations

The sentence below has been added:

Institutions supported by the Initiative for Maximizing Student Development (IMSD) are not eligible to apply for or hold a RISE grant.

Part 2. Section III.3. Additional Information on Eligibility

Number of Applications

The sentence below concerning the Number of Applications has been removed and replaced:

Applicant organizations may submit more than one application, provided that each application is scientifically distinct.

The sentence above has been replaced with:

As stated in Part 1. Number of Applications of the FOA, only one application per institution is allowed.

Part 2. Section IV.2. Content and Form of Application Submission
