Purpose

The purpose of this notice is to inform potential K23 applicants of an important change to the NEI's eligibility requirements. Candidates are required to devote a minimum of 75% full-time professional effort to the K-award, however, candidates who are ophthalmic surgeons can request between 6 and 9 person-months (50% to 75%) of full-time professional effort conducting research and career development activities.
