Purpose

NIH has published details of application Changes for Research Grants and Cooperative Agreements for due dates on or after January 25, 2010 (http://enhancing-peer-review.nih.gov/page_limits.html). 

Because of the complexity of the NEI R24 activity, the NIH has granted a temporary exception for the January 25, 2010 submission deadline on PAR-09-035.  For this submission date only, applicants will continue to be allowed 43 pages for the Research Strategy section. 
All applications, including resubmission, revision and renewal, submitted for due dates January 25, 2010 and beyond, must utilize the current forms and instructions.
All other aspects of this FOA remain unchanged.
