Purpose

The purpose of this notice is to change the application package for submission in response to PAR-10-030 Limited Competition: NIH Competitive Revision Awards for Creating Virtual Consortium for Transdisciplinary Environmental Research and to clarify the content of the Research Strategy section.

Due to the receipt date change, the application package with the Competition ID of ADOBE-FORMS-A has been closed and cannot be used for submission. Applicants must return to the announcement and download a new application package with the Competition ID of ADOBE-FORMS-B in order to submit to this opportunity.   See Confirming the Correct Electronic Form Choice for additional details at: http://enhancing-peer-review.nih.gov/docs/confirming_the_correct_electronic_forms_choice.pdf.  This change is necessary to accommodate the new application due date of February 26, 2010 (per NOT-ES-10-005 at: https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-ES-10-005.html).

Because of the receipt date change, page limits also changed to comply with new Enhancing Peer Review guidelines. Applications must now include a one page statement of objectives of the ViCTER Program (Introduction to application) and a one page Specific Aims.. The overall Research Strategy section (single PDF upload) is capped at 12 pages total and should contain the Organization and Administrative Structure, as well as the Significance, Innovation and Approach sections of each of the ViCTER components.

All other aspects of this announcement remain unchanged.
