PRE-APPLICATION MEETING FOR THE RFA ON CHILDREN'S ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND DISEASE PREVENTION RESEARCH (RFA-ES-03-004) RELEASE DATE: February 13, 2003 NOTICE: NOT-ES-03-007 National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) (http://www.niehs.nih.gov) National Center for Environmental Research, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) (http://www.epa.gov/ncer) This notice is an addendum to RFA-ES-03-004 "Centers for Children's Environmental Health and Disease Prevention Research," which was released in the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts on January 28, 2003. The program staff of the NIEHS and EPA will hold an informational pre-application meeting for investigators planning to submit applications in response to this RFA. This meeting will provide prospective applicants with information about the preparation of an application and will address questions posed by the audience about the RFA. The public meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2003 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda located at One Bethesda Metro Center, Bethesda, Maryland. Attendance is not a prerequisite to applying for a grant announced by this RFA. Attendees must pay for their own travel and accommodation costs. This workshop will be open to any individual or organization interested in applying to this RFA.
