This Notice is to inform the applicant community of an increase in the number of anticipated awards for Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) RFA-DK-22-506, “Limited Competition for the Continuation of the APOL1 Long-term Kidney Transplantation Outcomes Network (APOLLO) Clinical Centers (Collaborative U01 - Clinical Trial Not Allowed) ” and RFA-DK-22-507, “Limited Competition for the Continuation of the APOL1 Long-term Kidney Transplantation Outcomes Network Scientific and Data Research Center (APOLLO SDRC) (Collaborative U01 - Clinical Trial Not Allowed)”.

Therefore, Section II., the Award Information section of both FOAs has been updated to more accurately reflect the number of anticipated awards as shown below:

Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards

NIDDK intends to commit $3.5M and NIMHD intends to commit $500K for fiscal years 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027, and NIAID intends to commit $600K per year for fiscal years 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027 to support the two related funding opportunities RFA-DK 22-507 and RFA-DK-22-506. We anticipate awarding 1 Scientific Data Coordinating Center, and up to 12 Clinical Centers.
