Purpose

This Notice is to inform potential applicants that the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolic Diseases (DEM) at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) will host a pre-application webinar on Wednesday, August 11, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time, EDT) for those interested in learning more about RFA-DK-22-019 - Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus Stakeholder Engagement Innovation Center to Advance Health Equity (U2C Clinical Trial Not Allowed).

Please note that pre-registration is required to attend the webinar.The webinar link will be sent to registered attendees.

Purpose: NIDDK/DEM staff will provide programmatic information about the FOA and the application review process, as well as answer questions from prospective applicants. The webinar is open to all prospective applicants, although participation in the webinar is not required to submit an application to RFA-DK-22-019.

Prospective applicants are highly encouraged to submit their questions regarding the FOA in advance of the webinar toGrantsInfo@nih.govby 11:59 p.m. local time on August 9, 2022. Time permitting, participants will also be able to ask questions during the webinar.

Following the webinar, the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document located on the meeting registration website will be updated to incorporate questions posed during webinar. This document may subsequently be updated without additional notice.
