The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) will host a pre-application webinar for those interested in learning more about Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) RFA-DK-21-023, "NIDDK Short-Term Research Experience Program to Unlock Potential (STEP-UP) (R25 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)". The webinar is open to all prospective applicants, and participation in the webinar is not a requirement for submitting an application to RFA-DK-21-023.

NIDDK staff members involved will provide a brief overview of RFA-DK-21-023 for potential applicants by explaining the goals and objectives for the FOA, as well as answering questions from webinar attendees. Please submit questions in advance for consideration to include in the webinar by June 14, 2021 by 5:00pm (EDT) to niddkstepup@mail.nih.gov . Please note, due to time constraints, questions that are not submitted in advance may not be addressed during the webinar. We request that participants carefully review the funding opportunity for this initiative prior to submitting a question for the webinar.
