Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to clarify the award budget information regarding the Opportunity Pool program. The following sections of RFA-DK-20-014, Reconfiguration of GenitoUrinary Development Molecular Anatomy Project (GUDMAP)/(Re)Building A Kidney (RBK) Data Hub (U24 Clinical Trial Not Allowed) have been amended:


Section II. Award Information, Award Budget

Currently reads:

Direct costs are expected to be approximately $750,000 per year. Application budgets need to reflect the actual needs of the proposed project. Included within the $750,000 per year, applicants may request $400,000 in direct cost or more per year for the Opportunity Pool.

Modified to read:

Direct costs are expected to be approximately $750,000 per year. In addition, applicants may request $400,000 in or more per year for the Opportunity Pool. All Opportunity Pool costs are inclusive of any consortium F&A.
 

Section IV. Application and Submission Information, 2. Content and Form of Application Submission, R&R Budget

Currently reads:

The budget should request $50,000 to support the cost of distributing the iPSC tagged lines through a third party and at least $400,000 per year for an Opportunity Pool Program.

Modified to read:

The budget should request $50,000 to support the cost of distributing the iPSC tagged lines through a third party and may request $400,000 or more per year for an Opportunity Pool Program.


All other aspects of this Funding Opportunity Announcement remain unchanged.
