Purpose

This Notice is to announce the change in the detailed budget requirement and application receipt date for RFA-DK-12-504: Limited Competition for the Continuation of the Clinical Centers for The Environmental Determinants of Diabetes in the Young (TEDDY) Study (UC4). Section IV.2, Page Limitations, Budget Requests reads as follows and currently states that a detailed budget is not required with the submission of this FOA:

Budget Request

The Budget request is entered in the Estimated Project Funding section of the SF424 (R&R) Cover component only. Only the five-year total should be entered. A detailed budget is not required at the time of submission and will not be accepted.  This FOA uses "Just-In-Time" information concepts (see SF424 (R&R) Application Guide).  Detailed budget information will be requested as part of the Just-In-Time information.

A detailed budget is now required for RFA-DK-12-504.  Section IV.2, Page Limitations, Budget Requests has been amended to read:

Please follow the standard guidance for the R&R Budget Component.  Refer to section 4.7 of SF424 (R&R) Application Guide for NIH and Other PHS Agencies.  See: http://grants.nih.gov/grants/funding/424/#inst.

Please note that although the award for the entire project period will be made in year 1, a detailed budget should be provided for each year up to 5 years.

Change to Key Dates, Application Receipt Date:  To allow applicants adequate opportunity to make these changes, the application receipt date for this FOA has been changed from July 17, 2012 to August 7, 2012.
