Purpose
The purpose of this notice is to remove the heading, Introduction to Application, where required explanation for the team’s expertise in the analysis of genomics and associated data in the context of dental, oral, and craniofacial biology was articulated. This requirement should be addressed under Research Strategy.
This notice applies to the first due date of June 16th, 2020 and all subsequent standard due dates for non-AIDS applications, and May 7th, 2020 and all subsequent standard due dates for AIDS applications.
The following is detailed information about modifications to the FOA.

Introduction to Application:
Applicants are expected to explain why the team possesses sufficient expertise in analysis of genomics and associated data in the context of DOC biology.
Research Strategy:
Applicants must describe and justify proposed research strategy clearly. Justify why the data source is appropriate to answer proposed research question(s). Address quality of the data within proposed dataset(s), including relevant variables and data completeness.
Applicants are expected to articulate why the project is likely to succeed in analyzing proposed existing data resources to enhance DOC research and knowledge of DOC biology.
