The National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) announces that it is terminating PAR-00-097, the NIDCR Scholar Development and Faculty Transition Award (K22) (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-00-097.html) . After February 1, 2006 , the NIDCR will no longer accept new K22 applications in response to this PAR. Revised applications will not be accepted after March 1, 2006.

The NIDCR is participating in the new Pathway to Independence Award Program, which has the same basic intent and similar structure of the outgoing NIDCR K22 Program. Details of this new career transition award can be found on the NIH website at http://grants.nih.gov/grants/new_investigators/pathway_independence.htm.
