Purpose

On December 10, 2018, the NIH issued the following Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs):

RFA-DA-19-025 HEAL Initiative: Justice Community Opioid Innovation Network (JCOIN) Clinical Research Centers

RFA-DA-19-024 HEAL Initiative: Justice Community Opioid Innovation Network (JCOIN) Coordination and Translation Center

RFA-DA-19-023 HEAL Initiative: Justice Community Opioid Innovation Network (JCOIN) Methodology and Advanced Analytics Resource Center

To assist potential applicants to the above-referenced FOAs, this Notice provides the following information:

• A Pre-Application Information Webinar for potential HEAL Initiative: Justice Community Opioid Innovation Network (JCOIN) applicants will be provided on January 9, 2019.

JCOIN Webinar Information
Date: January 9, 2019
Time: 1:00 2:30 pm ET
The intent of the pre-application webinar is to provide an overview of the JCOIN FOAs and to address questions from potential applicants. The webinar is optional and not required for application submission. The webinar may conclude before the scheduled time depending on the number of questions.

Additional information, including a link to register for the webinar will be posted at: https://www.drugabuse.gov/news-events/meetings-events/2019/01/jcoin-technical-assistance-webinar. Following the webinar, NIDA will post the slides presented during the Webinar on the same website. Prospective applicants with inquiries concerning the FOA who are unable to participate in the Webinar are encouraged to view the summary of questions and answers after the Webinar.
