Purpose

This Notice is to inform potential applicants to RFA-DA-19-013 of a pre-application webinar to provide submission information for the NIDA's "Responding to Opioid Use Disorders (OUD) in Tribal Communities in the Context of SAMHSA and CDC Funding (R61/R33 - Clinical Trials Optional)". The intent of the webinar is to provide an overview of the initiative and to address questions pertinent to preparing applications. The webinar is optional and not required for application submission.

NIDA staff will post information about how to participate in the Webinar at https://www.drugabuse.gov/news-events/meetings-events/2018/10/rfa-technical-assistance-webinar-responding-to-opioid-use-disorders-oud-in-tribal-communities-in. Prospective applicants are encouraged to submit their questions or comments regarding the RFA to ketz@nih.gov by October 15, 2018. Following the webinar, NIDA will post the slides presented during the Webinar on the same website. Prospective applicants with inquiries concerning the FOA who are unable to participate in the Webinar are encouraged to view the summary of questions and answers after the Webinar.
