Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to extend PA-13-016 "Prescription Drug Abuse (R21)", which aims to encourages a broad range of research strategies to address the problem of prescription drug abuse. Across proposed research strategies, there is an interest in stimulating the development and integration of novel technologies (e.g., genetic, imaging, proteomic, and/or metabolomic methodologies) to observe and understand the etiology and biological and behavioral mechanisms associated with prescription drug abuse. The current expiration date is January 8, 2016. The new expiration date is May 8, 2016.
