Purpose

This Notice is to update PAR-12-222 “Cohort Studies of HIV/AIDS and Substance Use (U01)” in two ways.

1. Section II. Award Budget

CURRENT LANGUAGE:
Application budgets are not limited, but need to reflect actual needs of the proposed project.

REVISED LANGUAGE:
Applications may be submitted with a requested budget not to exceed $2,000,000 total (direct + indirect) costs in any year; an application with a budget exceeding this amount will be returned without review.

2. Section IV.6. Requests of $500,000 or more for direct costs in any year

The section in Section IV. 6. "Requests of $500,000 or more for direct costs in any year" is now eliminated.

All other aspects of this FOA remain the same
