Purpose

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), along with the National Cancer Institute (NCI), the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), and the Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research (OBSSR), intend to reissue the Accelerating the Pace of Drug Abuse Research Using Existing Data (R01) FOA (https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-10-018.html).

This Notice is being provided to alert potential applicants that there will be less than 30 days between the open date and the due date for the reissuance of the funding opportunity announcement. Publication of the reissued funding opportunity announcement is expected on January 8, 2013, and the first due date will be February 5, 2013.
