National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA)
This Notice is to inform potential applicants that the National Institute on Drug Abuse is modifying information in its Science Education Drug Abuse Partnership Award (R25) FOA (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-10-227.html) relating to travel funds for participants in the Annual NIH SciEd Conference. This conference will be designed specifically for SEDAPA and SEPA grantees and will include topics that are relevant to the design of science education programs and projects relevant to NIH. Information on the 2012 conference can be found at: http://nih-scied.genetics.utah.edu/scied2012/index.cfm.
Science Education Drug Abuse Partnership Award (SEDAPA) PDs/PIs are now required to participate in the annual NIH SciEd Conference (formerly SEPA Program Directors Conference). Funds to support travel of the PD(s)/PI(s) to attend the annual meeting should be included in the budget. SEDAPA grantees are encouraged to include their key staff, and other appropriate personnel in this annual conference.
All other aspects of the FOA remain the same.
