The National Institute on Drug Abuse is issuing this Notice to clarify eligibility requirements for PAS-10-274, Early Career Award in Chemistry of Drug Abuse and Addiction (ECHEM) – NIDA (R21/R33) (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAS-10-274.html)
These grants are designed for researchers who have never had
an R01 award from NIH or any award that duplicates provisions of the R01 award
(e.g., K02, K05, P01). Other forms of NIH support (e.g., R03, R21,
mentored K awards, F and T awards) are acceptable.
