SOCIAL WORK RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM CHANGE (PAR-00-008) Release Date: October 4, 2000 NOTICE: DA-01-003 National Institute on Drug Abuse (http://www.nih.gov) PURPOSE The purpose of this notice is to alert the scientific community of two changes to the Social Work Research Development Program (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-00-008.html) program announcement (PAR-00-008) published in the NIH Guide for Contracts and Grants on November 2, 1999. The following changes should be reflected in all applications, effective immediately: (1) A basic (1/2-page) budget is to accompany each proposed pilot. This budget should include funded and in-kind/donated percentages of personnel time. (2) The P.I. must be 60% on the grant the first year and a minimum of 40% thereafter.
