Purpose

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) will hold a public pre-application webinar on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 1:00 - 1:45 p.m. (EST) for the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) RFA-CA-18-016 entitled NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) Community Sites (UG1 Clinical Trial Required)".

NCORP consists of three components, each covered by a separate FOA:

• NCORP Research Bases (covered by companion FOA RFA-CA-18-015);
• NCORP Community Sites (covered by this FOA); and
• NCORP Minority/Underserved Community Sites (covered by companion FOA RFA-CA-18-017).

Pre-Application webinars for other NCORP FOAs are announced in NOT-CA-18-083 and NOT-CA-18-085.

NCI staff members involved in this FOA will provide orientation and technical assistance to potential applicants by explaining the goals and objectives of the Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) as well as the goals of RFA-CA-18-016 and answering questions from attendees about the this FOA and NCORP Program, in general.

Potential applicants are encouraged to submit their questions to NCORP@mail.nih.gov in advance of the teleconference.

Webinar Slides and the Frequently Asked Questions will be available at: https://ncorp.cancer.gov/resources/applicants.html two days following the completion of this webinar.
