Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to clarify that the eligible institutions are those institutions supported under RFA-CA-12-011 that are associated with the named Principal Investigator(s)/Program Director(s) on the current Network Statistics and Data Management Center awards. However, to maintain eligibility, these institutions must not by applying for the Network Group Operations award under RFA-CA-17-056.

The following specific changes are implemented:

Eligible Organizations

The current language in this section reads as follows:

Only the current Network Statistics and Data Management Center awardees, supported under RFA-CA-12-011 , are eligible to apply.

The language has been revised as follows:

Only the current awardees or subrecipients, (including second-tier subrecipients), with a substantial role in the existing Network Statistics and Data Management infrastructure supported under RFA-CA-12-011 are eligible to apply. Substantial role may be defined as employing one or more of the existing multiple PD/PIs, receiving a substantial (25% or more) amount of the current award or employing a significant number of the staff required to support the existing infrastructure.

An organization applying for the Network Group Operations Center award under RFA-CA-17-056 cannot apply for a Network Group Statistics and Data Management award under this FOA.

All other aspects of this Funding Opportunity Announcement remain unchanged.
