This Notice is to inform the scientific community that the NCI is amending its participation in Program Announcements PA-05-015, entitled Research Supplements to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research, and PA-04-126, Supplements to Promote Re-entry into Biomedical and Behavioral Research Careers, as follows:

The Comprehensive Minority Biomedical Branch, Office of Centers, Training and Resources, National Cancer Institute (NCI), announces two receipt cycles per fiscal year for the above-mentioned supplement applications starting in Fiscal Year 2006. For cycle one, NCI will receive the specified supplement applications from October 1 to December 1, 2005, and make funding decisions on them in March 2006. For cycle two, NCI will receive the specified supplement applications from March 1 to May 1, 2006, and make funding decisions on them in July 2006.

In the future, these supplement applications will only be accepted twice a year, namely (and as above), from October 1 to December 1 and from March 1 to May 1, with the funding decisions to be made in March and in July, respectively.

Please also note that all inquiries to the NCI regarding PA-05-015 and (from now henceforth regarding) PA-04-126 should be directed to the person indicated below.
