Release Date: October 24, 2000
NOTICE: CA-01-003
National Cancer Institute
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is excited to introduce the NCI
Research Resources website (http://cancer.gov/resources). This one-of-
a-kind directory has over 100 entries, including specimen banks,
datasets, computer software, repositories of chemicals, and more. The
NCI Research Resources website is integral to NCI’s commitment to
provide basic, clinical and epidemiological researchers with tools and
resources to facilitate cancer research. These NCI-developed products
and services are available without extensive negotiations or
intellectual property issues. The NCI Research Resources website was
developed to better enable access to these resources and to promote
their use by the scientific community.
The NCI Research Resources directory is not a source of funding
information. For a comprehensive list of NCI funding opportunities,
including grants and contracts, please visit
(http://deainfo.nci.nih.gov/funding.htm). Inquiries regarding NCI
funding information may be directed to the staff listed on the
individual announcements.
