Purpose

The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) intends to issue a Request for Applications (RFA) to solicit applications for Skin Diseases Research Core Centers (P30).  A goal of these Core Centers is to provide resources for a number of investigators with established, funded research projects, often from different disciplines, to adopt a synergistic approach to common research problems in skin biology and diseases and to ensure greater productivity than from each of the separate projects.

This notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and responsive proposals.  The RFA is expected to be published in early 2010 with an expected receipt date of early fall, 2010.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOT BEING SOLICITED AT THIS TIME.
