PURPOSE

The Division of Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (DAIDS) of the National 
Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) announces it WILL NO 
LONGER participate in the Program Announcement, PA-02-024, 
STATISTICAL METHODS IN HIV/AIDS RESEARCH 
https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PA-02-024.html 
that appeared in the NIH Guide on November 29, 2001.  The final 
receipt date for applications to NIAID was May 1, 2004.

Applications in response to this PA will continue to be accepted by the 
National Institute of Mental Health.

The current PA expires on November 30, 2004.

NIAID:

The PA encourages applications for the development of original statistical 
methods to advance the understanding, treatment, and prevention of human 
immunodeficiency virus (HIV) disease/AIDS.  The PA has resulted in a research 
program that has become self-sustaining at NIAID.
