INACTIVATION OF NIAID SARS NOTICE (NOT-AI-03-034)

PURPOSE

NIAID announces the inactivation of notice NOT-AI-03-034 
(https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-AI-03-034.html).  
The notice added basic research on the SARS coronavirus to PA-03-080, 
Biodefense and Emerging Infectious Diseases Research Opportunities 
(https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PA-03-080.html).

Effective with this announcement, research on the SARS coronavirus is 
no longer responsive to PA-03-080.  

However, investigators are encouraged to submit investigator-initiated 
R01, R03, R21, and P01 research applications on the subject. Specific 
guidelines for investigator initiated R21s and R03s are available here:

P01s.  Standard rules regarding grants requesting $500,000 or more in
