This notice is an addendum to announce a new receipt date as well as 
make a point of clarification to RFA AI-00-003 “Orthopoxvirus Genomics 
and Bioinformatics Resource Center.”  

The revised receipt date is stated above.

The Point of Clarification is regarding the reference to “relational 
databases” in the PURPOSE – Page 1, Paragraph 2, and again in RESEARCH 
OBJECTIVES & SCOPE - Page 3 Paragraph 1.

Please note that although the RFA suggests the use of a “relational” 
database, applicants may utilize any type of database, not only 
relational, that they feel is optimal for the activity.
