Purpose

The National Institute on Aging (NIA), joined by the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR), the National Institute of Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD), and the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), will host a pre-application technical assistance webinar for individuals interested in applying for the Grants for Early Medical/Surgical Specialists' Transition to Aging Research (GEMSSTAR) R03 Award (PAR-27-096). The webinar will provide programmatic, peer review and award information, and guidance on the application process and grant writing strategies. Participation in the webinar, although encouraged, is not required for the submission of an application.
