Purpose

The purpose of this notice is to rescind NOT-AG-21-055, “NIA Announces Guidance for Purchasing Identifiable Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Data in Grant Applications Effective FY 2022,” effective immediately.

NIA award recipients are no longer required to use an Inter-Agency Agreement to pay for CMS data purchases, and their awards will not be restricted or reduced. NIA award recipients purchasing CMS data must follow CMS processes. Recipients with language in their Notice of Award restricting the purchase of CMS data should contact their respective Grants Management Specialist (GMS) to request removal of the restrictive text.
