Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to clarify instructions in RFA-AG-19-023 related to the R&R Budget Form in Section IV.2.

The FOA currently reads:


R&R or Modular Budget
All instructions in the SF424 (R&R) Application Guide must be followed.

The instructions are revised to read:

The U01 application budget should include funds for U01 PD(s)/PI(s) and key personnel to travel to a kick-off meeting for the U24 Telomere Research Network (TRN) that will be organized by NIH staff and held in the Washington, DC area in the fall of 2019, within 2 months of the TRN and U01 Methods Comparison Project awards.


The U01 application budget should also include funds for traveling the U01 PD(s)/PI(s) and key personnel to annual 1.5-day TRN Steering Committee and External Advisory Committee (EAC) meetings in the Washington, DC or Raleigh, NC areas in the first three years of the award.
