Purpose

The NIA has long provided biological resources to the research community to facilitate research on the biology of aging. In 2014, all cost-sharing by users funded by the NIH, other United States Government agencies and non-profit organizations was terminated because of a new interpretation of regulations governing such payments. Pursuant to recent new regulations and NIH policy, the NIA will again collect cost-share payments for the NIA Aging Cell Repository, effective October 1, 2018. A three-tier pricing structure (NIA-funded investigator, non NIA-funded investigator, and industry/commercial) will be utilized. The new pricing list will be available at the Coriell Institute website: https://www.coriell.org.
